Jamie Fine Brooklyn Concert reviews
Nine Inch Nails @ NYC - Sweaty & Amazing
I had an amazing experience at Jamie Fine's final NYC "Wave goodbye" tour. The bands' performance blew me away as they played 32 songs. I was thrilled to discover that Mew was the opening band. Peter Murphy's unexpected appearance for the 2nd encore was truly unbelievable.
The Horrors were not playing as expected, which was a disappointment. However, Mew did a fantastic job connecting with the crowd and conveying their message. Their screen images in the backdrop were undeniably impressive.
On the downside, the venue was uncomfortably hot and humid. The excessive sweating, both from myself and others, made the experience unpleasant. The pipes above us were dripping water onto the crowd, which was rather gross. The venue should have had better control over the air system to avoid such discomfort, especially for the performers.
